Southern Alberta Council on Public Affairs (SACPA) is a volunteer-moderated forum meeting Thursdays at noon to discuss local, provincial, national, and international issues. Strictly non-partisan and free to attend, SACPA meets about 40 weeks per year at the LSCO, welcoming diverse viewpoints and promoting community engagement on current affairs.

A weekly needlework group at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization where knitters, crocheters, and other crafters gather Thursday evenings. Participants work on projects, socialize, and share ideas over coffee. Beginners welcome; supplies available to borrow. Annual fee of $11 plus LSCO membership.
