Remington Halloween Spooktacular
The fifth annual Remington Spooktacular brings Halloween fun to Cardston with trick-or-treat tables, games, prizes, and crafts. Local clubs, groups, and organizations hand out candy in a family-friendly afternoon celebration at the Remington Carriage Museum.

Empowering Women in Relationships - Therapy Group
An 8-week counselling group for women who have left imbalanced or abusive relationships. Facilitated by licensed professionals, the program covers boundary-setting, assertive communication, and rebuilding trust. Meets Tuesday mornings October 6–November 24, 2026. Free to attend. Registration opens September 2026.
Quilting Group
The Quilting Group meets weekly at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization for members with basic quilting skills. Participants socialize, share ideas, and work on individual projects while contributing items for donations and raffles. Bring your own supplies and sign up at the Administration Desk.
LSCO Karaoke Group
The LSCO Karaoke Group meets Tuesday afternoons for singing and socializing at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization. Open to non-members for a $2 drop-in fee per week, or $30 annually with LSCO membership. Participants are welcome to bring their own microphone.
Free Naloxone and Overdose Response Training
Free training on naloxone administration and overdose response hosted at the Terrarium in Lethbridge. This educational session covers life-saving techniques for recognizing and responding to overdose emergencies. Open to the public and designed to build community capacity in harm reduction and emergency response.
Fall Open House
Lethbridge Polytechnic hosts a Fall Open House for prospective students and the community. The event runs Wednesday evening, October 28th, offering campus tours, program information, and the chance to meet faculty and current students. Learn about diploma and degree programs available at the institution.
COMPASS for the Caregiver
COMPASS for the Caregiver is a support program for people caring for loved ones with cancer. The session offers practical tools, meaningful connection, and community support at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. Caregivers are invited to register and connect with others navigating similar experiences.
Rotary Club Breakfast
The Rotary Club of Lethbridge hosts a weekly breakfast meeting every Thursday at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization. This community service organization welcomes members and guests to join for fellowship, local updates, and planning of community initiatives.
Winners Bingo
Winners Bingo at the Lethbridge Community Bingo Hall runs weekly on Thursday afternoons starting at 12:15 pm with Early Bird games and regular games at 12:25 pm. Eight progressive pots are offered each session, including a guaranteed Jackpot game. Revenue supports LSCO Programs, and volunteers are welcome.
Weekly Cribbage
A weekly cribbage game hosted by the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization every Thursday evening. Newcomers are welcome to join. Free for LSCO members or $2 drop-in fee. Games run from 7 to 9 PM in the Card Area.
Knitting, Crochet & More
A weekly needlework group for knitting, crochet, and other crafts at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization. Participants work on projects, socialize, and share ideas over coffee. Beginners welcome, and supplies are available to borrow. Annual membership fee of $11 and LSCO membership required; drop-ins welcome.
COMPASS for the Caregiver
COMPASS for the Caregiver is a four-week facilitated workshop for people 55+ who are caregivers. The program explores guilt, grief, stress management, communication skills, and navigating support systems. Held at the Lethbridge Senior Citizen Organization, the workshop provides peer support and practical tools for caregivers managing their responsibilities.
Lego of Your Stress
Lego of Your Stress is a hands-on wellness activity at the University of Lethbridge where participants build with LEGO as a mindfulness and stress-relief exercise. Held at the Terrarium in the Student Learning Hub, this event welcomes students and community members looking for a creative break and mental health support.
Paper Tole & Creative Arts Group
The Paper Tole & Creative Arts Group meets weekly at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization for artists and crafters to work on projects together. Paper tole enthusiasts, painters, knitters, and other crafters are welcome. Membership includes annual fee plus LSCO membership; supplies cost extra.

Prescribing Pharmacist On-Site Clinic
The Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization hosts a free on-site pharmacist clinic on the first Tuesday of each month. A pharmacist from Medicine Shoppe provides blood pressure checks, medication reviews, lab requisitions, minor ailment prescribing, travel health consultations, and flu vaccinations. Vaccination appointments required; call 403-320-2222 to book.
Quilting Group

Donuts and Discussion is a recovery support group meeting held in Lethbridge. The casual, welcoming format includes refreshments, peer discussion, and craft activities. Meetings provide community connection and support for those in recovery.
