Southern Alberta Council of Public Affairs (SACPA)
SACPA is an independent, non-partisan forum meeting Thursdays at noon to discuss local, provincial, national, and international issues affecting Lethbridge and Southern Alberta. Hosted by the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization, the weekly sessions are free and open to the public, featuring volunteer moderators and diverse speakers.
Weekly Cribbage
Join the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization for weekly cribbage every Thursday evening from 7–9 PM. Newcomers welcome. Free for LSCO members or $2 drop-in fee. Gather in the Card Area to play this classic card game with community members.
Knitting, Crochet & More
A weekly needlework group for knitters, crocheters, and other textile crafters meets at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization. Participants work on projects, socialize, and share ideas over coffee. Beginners welcome; supplies available to borrow. Annual membership fee $11.
Paper Tole & Creative Arts Group
The Paper Tole & Creative Arts Group meets weekly at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization for crafters to work on projects while socializing. Paper tole artists, painters, knitters, and other crafters are welcome. Annual membership fee of $23 plus LSCO membership required; supply costs are additional.

Prescribing Pharmacist On-Site
A pharmacist from Medicine Shoppe will be on-site at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization monthly to provide health services. Offerings include blood pressure checks, medication reviews, laboratory testing requisitions, strep throat testing, minor ailment prescribing, travel health consultations, and flu vaccinations. Vaccination appointments required.
Quilting Group
A weekly quilting group for people with basic skills meets at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization. Members work on personal projects, share ideas, and collaborate on items for donations and raffles. Participants bring their own supplies. LSCO membership required.
LSCO Karaoke Singers
Join the LSCO Karaoke Singers for a weekly Tuesday afternoon sing-along at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization. Open to all ages, members pay $30/year and non-members can drop in for $2 per session. Bring your own microphone and enjoy socializing with fellow singers.
Community Connect Coffee Group
Community Connect Coffee Group is a free, drop-in socialization program for older adults hosted by the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization. Participants can connect with peers, access information about community services and resources, and enjoy coffee, tea, and treats. Meets monthly on the first Tuesday.
CRA & Service Canada On-Site
Service Canada and the Canada Revenue Agency offer free on-site assistance at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization. A Community Liaison and CRA representative answer questions about CPP, OAS, GIS, EI, tax credits, and account access. Drop-in format; no registration required. Held monthly on the first Wednesday.
Lapidary Stonecrafters Group
The Lapidary Group at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization teaches stonecrafting and jewelry-making using rocks and fine gems. Experienced instructors guide participants through safe machine operation and project completion. Weekly meetings on Wednesday evenings. Annual membership fee of $36 plus supply costs.
LSCO Facility Tour
The Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization offers monthly facility tours for members and prospective participants. Meet at the Administration Desk to learn about programs and services offered by LSCO. No fee, no RSVP required, though advance notice by phone is appreciated.
Rotary Club Breakfast
The Rotary Club of Lethbridge hosts a weekly breakfast meeting at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization. This recurring Thursday event brings together community members for breakfast and Rotary's service initiatives and fellowship.
Hearing Screening
Free hearing screening offered by Lethbridge Hearing Centre at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization. No cost to participate. Register by calling LSCO at 403-320-2222. Held monthly on the second Thursday.
Winners Bingo
Winners Bingo at Lethbridge Community Bingo Hall runs weekly on Thursday afternoons, starting at 12:15 pm with Early Bird games. Eight progressive pots are available each session, including match ball, jackpot, and bonanza games. Revenue supports LSCO programs. Volunteers welcome.
