Prescribing Pharmacist On-Site
A Medicine Shoppe pharmacist visits the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization monthly to provide on-site health services. Services include blood pressure checks, lab requisitions, medication reviews, minor ailment prescribing, strep throat testing, travel health consultation, and flu vaccinations. Appointments required for vaccinations.
Quilting Group
A weekly quilting group for people with basic skills meets at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization. Members socialize, share ideas, and work on personal projects while also creating items for donations and raffles. Participants must bring their own supplies and have an LSCO membership.
LSCO Karaoke Group
The LSCO Karaoke Group meets Tuesday afternoons for singing and socializing at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization. Open to all ages, members pay $30 annually while non-members can drop in for $2 per week. Participants are welcome to bring their own microphone.
Community Connect Coffee Group
Community Connect Coffee Group is a monthly drop-in socialization event for older adults hosted by Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization. Designed to build connections, empower participants, and strengthen access to community services and resources. Coffee, tea, and treats provided. No RSVP required.
CRA & Service Canada On-Site
Service Canada and CRA representatives will be on-site at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization to answer questions about government services including CPP, OAS, GIS, EI, tax credits, and income tax preparation. Drop-in format, no RSVP required. Monthly recurring event on the first Wednesday.
Lapidary (Stonecrafters) Group
The Lapidary Group meets weekly to teach stonecrafting and jewelry-making using rocks and fine gems. Experienced instructors guide participants through safe machine operation and project completion.
