Whoop-Up Days 2026 celebrates over 125 years of Southern Alberta tradition at the Lethbridge Trade & Convention Centre. The five-day festival features a midway, live music stage, Siksikaitsitapi Pow Wow, family fun zone, marketplace, food trucks, beer gardens, and the Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo. Free admission noon–3 PM on select days.

Kimmapiiyipitssini Kids Group—Ginoozhe Mental Health Day 2
Kimmapiiyipitssini Kids Group offers self-compassion and mental health skills for children aged 9-13, led by Blackfoot and Anishinaabe leaders. The program runs August 10-14 and August 17-21, 2026, at Lethbridge ICA. Activities include mindfulness, expressive arts, basketball, hoop dancing, and Indigenous games.
Brain Games with Building Brains Together
Building Brains Together hosts an afternoon of brain games at the Lethbridge Seniors Citizen Organization. This interactive event is designed to engage participants of various ages with cognitive challenges and activities. A great opportunity for community members to exercise their minds and socialize.
Small & Tall Branch: Crossings Branch
Small & Tall is a drop-in program at Lethbridge Public Library for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers. The session features songs, rhymes, and stories designed to build early literacy skills while offering parents and caregivers a chance to connect with others in the community.
