About this event
Honoring the Harvest is a two-day cultural festival at The Fort Museum of the NWMP in Fort Macleod, October 2–3, 2026. The event features Indigenous vendors, traditional storytelling, hand games, children's crafts, and cultural demonstrations led by Elders and Knowledge Keepers. Held during National Truth and Reconciliation Week, the festival celebrates Indigenous history, culture, and community relationships while supporting local Indigenous entrepreneurs and artists.

Drama Workshop with Guest Facilitator Kim Lennox of Costume Alchemy Inc
A two-day drama workshop with guest facilitator Kim Lennox of Costume Alchemy Inc. Participants will learn costume breakdown and dyeing techniques across ten hours of hands-on instruction. Registration is required. The workshop takes place at the University Centre for the Arts.
Sit 'n Stitch: Crossings Branch
Sit 'n Stitch is a community-led drop-in program at Lethbridge Public Library's Crossings Branch where adults gather to knit, crochet, and socialize. The program meets every Tuesday and Saturday afternoon, welcoming crafters of all skill levels to work on projects and connect with others.

Ride for Refuge
Ride for Refuge returns October 3rd at Henderson Lake Park in Lethbridge. This family-friendly fundraising ride and walk supports Streets Alive Mission's work helping people seeking hope, safety, and freedom from addiction. Participants can form teams and register online.
