About this event
Heritage Days is Cardston's week-long festival held in early August following the civic holiday. The annual event features a rotating schedule of activities and programming that changes year to year, celebrating local heritage and culture. Community members are invited to submit their own events for inclusion in the calendar.

Coffee with a Cop
Coffee with a Cop brings community members together for informal conversation with local law enforcement. This casual gathering at the Lethbridge Senior Citizen Organization diner offers residents a chance to meet Constable Dana Holland and build relationships with police in a relaxed, accessible setting.
Kimmapiiyipitssini Kids Group—Ginoozhe Mental Health Day 2
Kimmapiiyipitssini Kids Group offers self-compassion and mental health skills for children aged 9-13, led by Blackfoot and Anishinaabe leaders. The program runs August 10-14 and August 17-21, 2026, at Lethbridge ICA. Activities include mindfulness, expressive arts, basketball, hoop dancing, and Indigenous games.
Brain Games with Building Brains Together
Building Brains Together hosts an afternoon of brain games at the Lethbridge Seniors Citizen Organization. This interactive event is designed to engage participants of various ages with cognitive challenges and activities. A great opportunity for community members to exercise their minds and socialize.
