A two-day professional training program for Indigenous Support Navigators and Tier 2 System Navigators at the Blackfoot Resource Hub. The curriculum covers intergenerational trauma, cultural safety, resource navigation, and integrated service provision for Indigenous peoples in Lethbridge. Registration opens July 15, 2025.

Father's Day and International Yoga Day Festival
Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden hosts a Father's Day and International Yoga Day Festival on June 21. The day features free morning yoga, live performances including Taiko drumming and Yosakoi dance, live portrait drawing, and a free screening of My Neighbor Totoro. Family-friendly activities and garden admission available.

National Indigenous Peoples Day at Fort Whoop-Up
National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration at Fort Whoop-Up features demonstrations, hands-on activities, and cultural programming for all ages. Experience Blackfoot hand games, archery, hide tanning, powwow dancing, storytelling, and indigenous craft-making. The Helen Schuler Nature Centre offers information on medicinal wildflowers, and wagon rides are available. Free admission all day.
National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration
The Lethbridge Public Library hosts a National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration featuring Indigenous tacos, live entertainment, pow-wow dancers, drumming, and kids' crafts. The free community event runs Sunday, June 21 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Main Branch library.
