Join biologist and educator Brook Skagen for a two-hour exploration of birds in the Oldman River Valley. Starting with an introduction at the Galt Museum, participants will venture into the landscape for guided observation and nature-inspired art activities. Designed for curious kids, families, and lifelong learners of all ages. Registration required; $15 per person, free for members.

National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration at Fort Whoop-Up features demonstrations, hands-on activities, and cultural programming for all ages. Experience Blackfoot hand games, archery, hide tanning, powwow dancing, storytelling, and indigenous craft-making. The Helen Schuler Nature Centre offers information on medicinal wildflowers, and wagon rides are available. Free admission all day.
