Led by Sandra Cowan and Annie Martin, this evening event invites participants to explore their relationship with trees through meditation and mindful observation. All ages welcome. National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration at Fort Whoop-Up features demonstrations, hands-on activities, and cultural programming for all ages. Experience Blackfoot hand games, archery, hide tanning, powwow dancing, storytelling, and indigenous craft-making. The Helen Schuler Nature Centre offers information on medicinal wildflowers, and wagon rides are available. Free admission all day.
