Southern Alberta Council on Public Affairs (SACPA) is a volunteer-led forum for citizens to discuss local, provincial, national, and international issues. Meetings are held Thursdays at noon approximately 40 weeks yearly at the LSCO Atrium. The council is strictly non-partisan and welcomes diverse viewpoints. No RSVP required; open to the public.

Babes in the Library Branch: Crossings Branch
Babes in the Library is a program for parents and caregivers with infants aged 0–18 months at the Lethbridge Public Library's Crossings Branch. Meet other adults, share parenting experiences, and support your baby's early development through social interaction in a welcoming library environment.
Kaahsinooniks (Grandparents) Elders in Residence — When Leaves Fall
Kaahsinooniks brings Indigenous elders to campus weekly throughout October to share traditional knowledge, cultural teachings, and spiritual mentoring. The program offers storytelling, guidance, and community connection at the Iikaisskini Gathering Centre, welcoming all to learn from lived experience and cultural practice.
Library Building Celebrates 25 Years
The University Library celebrates its 25th anniversary with an open community gathering featuring cupcakes and beverages. The one-and-a-half-hour event welcomes library users and the public to mark this milestone in the Lethbridge community.
