National Indigenous Peoples Day at Fort Whoop-Up
National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration at Fort Whoop-Up features demonstrations, hands-on activities, and cultural programming for all ages. Experience Blackfoot hand games, archery, hide tanning, powwow dancing, storytelling, and indigenous craft-making. The Helen Schuler Nature Centre offers information on medicinal wildflowers, and wagon rides are available. Free admission all day.
National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration
The Lethbridge Public Library hosts a National Indigenous Peoples Day celebration featuring Indigenous tacos, live entertainment, pow-wow dancers, drumming, and kids' crafts. The free community event runs Sunday, June 21 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Main Branch library.
